Objectives

The Toulouse School of Design and Crafts consortium located in the Toulouse area aims at creating and strengthening a network of institutions with a common identity - all of them offering degrees in Design and Métiers d'Arts, and more specifically the Diplôme National des Métiers d'Art et du Design (DNMADe). The consortium is moreover meant to greatly contribute to making much more identifiable and visible its 7 member schools and the degrees they give. Lastly, it is meant to make the management of the Erasmus+ mobility programme much easier for the schools, in terms of selecting and preparing applicants, monitoring their period abroad, managing all the specific Erasmus+ administration tools and resources, as well as looking for partner institutions and developing actions to promote the Erasmus+ program. The plan has been to start by encouraging students to do their traineeship abroad as well as encouraging staff mobility whether in-bound or out-bound. Internationalizing our schools and the degrees they offer is also meant to allow students to develop their capacities to adapt to new situations, and to boost their creativity and as well as their employability.
