Objectives

As part of FERRANDI Paris' Bachelor F&B and Hotel Management programme, a three-year course leading to a level II diploma approved by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Innovation, our students must complete a compulsory 4 to 6 month internship abroad in an English-speaking country, or in a country where the working language is English. Our 2023 project foresaw 80 internship mobilities and 21 study mobilities: we selected 69 and 12 candidates from over 80 students involved in this programme. There were 36 young women and 41 young men (in total) aged between 19 and 24. The countries chosen are as follows: 22 in Spain, 7 in Ireland, 7 in Italy, 6 in Finland, 6 in Portugal, 6 in Sweden, 5 in Belgium, 5 in Denmark, 4 in Switzerland, 2 in Greece, 2 in Malta, 2 in Monaco, 2 in the Netherlands, 1 in Germany, 1 in Austria, 1 in Cyprus, 1 in Norway, 1 in Turkey. A total of 81 students went on mobility programmes for internships and studies. The main objective of the internship is to give students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills taught at the school. It is an essential immersion in the professional environment.
