Objectives

The international dimension stands as a cornerstone of EDC’s academic mission, underpinning all institutional activities and strategic initiatives. The internationalization strategy is designed to fulfill several core objectives: - Support EDC’s ongoing modernization by implementing academic programs and institutional processes that foster intercultural competence, promote diversity, and uphold the highest standards of academic excellence. - Strengthen the global employability of students and extend the international engagement of faculty and administrative staff by developing transversal skill sets and raising awareness of key global challenges, including diplomacy, sustainable development, digital transformation, and the proliferation of artificial intelligence. - Enhance EDC’s national and international visibility and credibility through the deployment of programs that meet rigorous quality benchmarks and are validated by national accreditations (visa, Bachelor's and Master’s degree certification) as well as internationally recognized bodies such as EFMD and AACSB. - Consolidate EDC’s international footprint, particularly within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), through targeted recruitment strategies. With 40% of the student body coming from outside France, EDC demonstrates its commitment to international diversity, attractiveness, and institutional resilience — all essential to long-term sustainable development. - Promote civic engagement and inclusion as integral components of EDC’s educational model, with the objective of contributing to the advancement of a more equitable and socially responsible global society. These objectives and achievements are fully consistent with the principles endorsed by the ECHE Charter and the European Commission.
