Objectives

This agreement has been part of the strategic project led by the CCCA-BTP since 2021 to internationalize apprenticeships in higher education. As consortium coordinator, the CCCA-BTP, together with all member training centres (CFAs), pursued the objective of making European and international mobility accessible to all apprentices enrolled in level 5 and higher education programs—primarily BTS (Advanced Technician Certificates) and engineering degrees. Building on the two previous project periods, the consortium sought to consolidate the dynamics initiated around several key priorities: The quantitative development of mobility opportunities, with particular attention given to BTS apprentices, who have historically been underrepresented; The diversification of mobility types (hybrid mobilities, study periods, internships, incoming mobilities, etc.); The professionalization of staff involved in mobility projects, through enhanced support provided by the CCCA-BTP’s Skills Internationalization Unit (PIC); The integration of Erasmus+ horizontal priorities (inclusion, green transition, digital transformation, active citizenship) into the pedagogical and organizational practices of member CFAs. The project also aimed to strengthen the network’s capacity to cooperate at the European and international levels, relying on long-term partnerships with training institutions and companies. Under this agreement, 75 mobility activities were funded with support from the Erasmus+ programme. In addition, the CCCA-BTP independently financed 84 further mobilities using its own resources, demonstrating its strong commitment to ensuring equitable access to mobility for all apprentices. The expected outcomes included the development of professional, language, and intercultural skills among participants, the promotion of mobility as a driver of attractiveness for CFAs, the upskilling of staff, and the sharing of expertise with other apprenticeship networks.
