HISTORY OF THE PROJECT The Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour has been involved in the European mobility programme for students since the programme was created. It is vital for a higher education institution such as ours to offer its students and staff these opportunities for mobility, especially as our university has a strong ambition to develop internationally. OBJECTIVES The objectives of the project are varied and depend on the profile of the participants. For students, the aim is to discover another culture, improve their language skills and learn using different teaching methods, and on the other hand, to increase their future employability in a wider employment area than the national level. For staff, mobilities contribute to enrich existing cooperations with our partners, share best practice and gain access to training that is not offered within the university.
