The Erasmus+ Internship Consortium brings together Clermont Auvergne University (UCA) and three engineering schools on the site: Institut National Polytechnique Clermont Auvergne, Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur et de Recherche VetAgro Sup (Clermont-Ferrand site), and Ecole Nationale Supérieur d’architecture de Clermont-Ferrand. Its purpose is to promote and coordinate the European program supporting internship mobility in order to assist and develop the international mobility of students at the Clermont site who wish to increase their employability through professional experience abroad. As a result, we wanted to increase the number of mobility opportunities to give students maximum opportunities to experience Erasmus while training in their respective specialties. The UCA, through the Directorate of International Relations and Francophonie (DRIF), which coordinates the Consortium and oversees the implementation of Key Action 131, wanted to continue implementing the four priorities of the Erasmus+ program (2021-2027), particularly the section on “Inclusion and Diversity.” Finally, the Consortium enables the UCA to further position itself as a driver of territorial development in Clermont-Ferrand and Europe by participating in the success of the European ARTEMIS alliance (Alliance for Regional Transition, Equality, Mobility, Inclusion, and Sustainability), winner of the 2024 call for proposals.
