Objectives

As part of its international development strategy, CY Cergy Paris Université is actively engaged in building strategic partnerships with Europe, Africa, and Asia. As a founding member of the European alliance EUTOPIA, the university, together with its nine partner institutions, promotes the core principles of the new European university. It aims to provide a collective, innovative, and inclusive response to major contemporary societal challenges, based on a student-centered model that fosters autonomy, addresses future challenges, and is grounded in the values of openness, diversity, and inclusion. Through the signing of multidisciplinary Erasmus agreements within the EUTOPIA community, the university benefits from increased European and international exchanges. This initiative offers a high-quality international experience to a wide range of students and staff, while promoting a deeper understanding of global dynamics through internationally-oriented education programs and research projects. The university has a robust network of 380 European bilateral agreements and 194 international agreements, facilitating academic mobility on a global scale. This international openness is further strengthened by adherence to the Erasmus+ Charter—through the implementation of EWP (Erasmus Without Paper) and the European Student Card—signifying excellence and a strong commitment to the construction of the European Higher Education and Research Area. CY Cergy Paris Université thus affirms its strategic ambition for international development—illustrated by the appointment of a Vice President dedicated to international affairs and the EUTOPIA project—enhancing its visibility and strengthening its partnerships with a view toward global academic and societal transformation.
