Objectives

We carried out our first Erasmus+ project in higher education as part of the 2023 programme. We drew on more than 20 years of experience in managing mobility consortia in vocational education and training, as well as our active involvement in the national MONA project in partnership with the Euro App Mobility association, which aims to develop long-term mobility for apprentices in Europe. Our ambition was to implement long-term mobility programmes lasting two to three months for BTS students on internships or study programmes, hybrid student internships, and also to launch mobility programmes for teaching staff to teach or provide training. Five Maison Familiale Rurale (MFR) establishments were members of our consortium at the start of the project, and one MFR joined the consortium in the second year of the programme. When we applied to set up a consortium, we set out some common goals for the members: - Set common goals and objectives. - Provide collective support and technical monitoring to ensure success and high-quality mobility. - Share experiences, capitalise on practices, pool skills and resources. - Harmonise tools and standardise approaches. - Organise and structure European mobility at the regional level, optimise the use of grants. - Increase communication and dissemination capacities in the region through the MFR's territorial network. - Create partnerships with institutions offering higher education courses. - Through the MONA project, develop experimentation and innovation in the development, strengthening and evaluation of skills in a different context and in the digitisation of training courses. These objectives have enabled us to build a framework for developing support activities and mobility programmes in higher education. The opportunities for sharing and exchanging practices between consortium members enable the teams involved in the organisation to develop their skills. We wanted to consider the possibility of other MFRs offering BTS training courses joining the consortium if they validate the ECHE charter halfway through the current programme. With regard to the target audience (BTS or BTSA students and teaching staff), we have set the following common objectives: o For students: - Strengthen their professional skills, discover and analyse new professional structures and practices in order to improve their employability. - Rediscover an interest in or perfect their knowledge of a modern European language. - Become more open to interculturality and strengthen their European citizenship. - Develop cross-disciplinary skills through the expression of their personal abilities and capabilities (promoting personal development, autonomy, socialisation and living together). - Support training in the use of digital tools in the context of mobility, whether hybrid or not. o For staff: - Strengthen skills in mobility project engineering. - Discover European educational, pedagogical and professional practices and re-examine their own. - Maintain and update their knowledge of Europe. - Support staff in pedagogical innovation through the use of digital tools in the context of their mobility or that of learners. For this first project, we envisaged 40 mobility projects over the programme period.
