The Erasmus+ project No. 2023-1-FR01-KA131-HED-000136725, covering the period from June 2023 to July 2025, had as its main objective the implementation of student and staff mobility at Avignon University for the academic years 2023/2024 and 2024/2025. This project is fully in line with the institution's internationalisation strategy, which aims to increase the international openness of the courses offered by promoting both outgoing and incoming mobility for students in all disciplines, as well as for teaching and administrative staff. Following the interim report, the mobility objectives defined were as follows: 109 student mobility placements for study purposes, 35 student mobility placements for internships, 2 staff mobility placements for teaching assignments, 2 staff mobility placements for training purposes. In addition to these quantitative objectives, the project also aimed to strengthen existing strategic partnerships with a number of European universities. Particular attention was paid to priority areas of cooperation, namely Germany, Spain, Ireland, Italy and the Netherlands, countries with which Avignon University has long-standing relations and sustained academic cooperation, as well as the maintenance of third-party partnerships with the United Kingdom.
