As part of the Erasmus+ 2023–2025 project, ESSCA is implementing an internationalization strategy that is fully aligned with the priorities of the Erasmus+ programme and the standards set forth by the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. The institution reaffirms its commitment to financially supporting students undertaking international mobility—whether for a study semester or an internship—within the framework of the Bachelor in International Management and the Grande École Programme. This ongoing support aims to ensure that mobility opportunities remain accessible to all student profiles, with particular attention given to those with fewer opportunities. Internationalization remains a key strategic focus for ESSCA, which continues to strengthen its European footprint while expanding its global reach. The opening in 2023 of a campus in Malaga—a city recognized as a hub for technology and Research & Development—and in Luxembourg—a strategic financial hub reinforced by post-Brexit relocations— represents a significant milestone in the school’s development. These new locations broaden mobility opportunities within the Schengen area and reinforce the institution’s European territorial anchoring. ESSCA is fully committed to the four European priorities for higher education: 1. Green transition: Achieving the Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility label in late 2023 and actively promoting low-carbon mobility initiatives; 2. Digital transition: Joining the EUonAIR European Alliance in 2024 (European University on AI in Curricula, Smart UniverCity and (Return) Mobility), focusing on artificial intelligence, hybrid mobility, and enhanced digitalization of processes through Erasmus Without Paper; 3. Inclusion: Implementing concrete actions to broaden access to mobility opportunities for a more diverse student population (including students with fewer opportunities and apprentices); 4. Participation in democratic life, shared values, and civic engagement: Encouraging strong student involvement in solidarity projects, student engagement pathways, and active participation of students and alumni in shaping the school’s strategic direction. ESSCA continues to enhance its support for incoming international students, in line with the “Bienvenue en France” label, for which the two-star certification has been renewed until 2025 following the latest audit. This recognition reflects the quality of the institution’s reception and support systems. All these initiatives are part of a broader ambition to position ESSCA as a leading European institution, combining academic excellence, social responsibility, and international influence. The school remains committed to integrating sustainability, ethics, and European academic recognition into its projects, in alignment with the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme and the expectations of its stakeholders.
