The Auvergne Region Institute of Social Work, a higher education institution specializing in social work, has adopted a strategy of international openness and aims to strengthen the intercultural, linguistic, and professional skills of its students and staff. The Erasmus+ KA131 project is fully in line with this desire to offer training rooted in European realities, in tune with the challenges of mobility, interculturality, and the adaptation of professional practices in a globalized context. The changing profiles of the people being supported, as well as the increasing complexity of social situations, encourage the acquisition of professional experience abroad. Furthermore, it has been observed that exchanges between European institutions allow for the mutual enrichment of educational and institutional practices. In this context, ITSRA has implemented an Erasmus+ mobility project for students enrolled in social work training programs who wish to do an internship abroad, and for staff who wish to develop their professional skills in a European context. The main objectives of the project were to: - Promote student mobility in order to enrich their educational experience through professional immersion in a European context, develop their intercultural, linguistic, and professional skills, and enhance their employability at the national and international levels. - Support the professionalization of staff through participation in training mobility programs abroad, with a view to enriching practices, observation, networking, and skills development. - Strengthen the European dimension of the institution by consolidating sustainable partnerships with European host structures and integrating an intercultural approach into the educational curriculum. - Improve the attractiveness and visibility of ITSRA at the European level as a priority, by affirming its role as a committed player in the construction of a transnational educational community; also at the international level with associated third countries, among others.
