Objectives

The Erasmus+ KA131 project is a core component of the ongoing internationalization policy aimed at strengthening the school’s position in the European higher education area and ensuring its lasting participation in this dynamic of European and international cooperation. Through this mobility project, the school reaffirms its commitment to supporting academic excellence, pedagogical innovation, and the personal and professional success of the students and staff involved. The KA131-2023 project was implemented during the 2023-2024 academic year, in a context still marked by both post-Covid recovery and significant geopolitical uncertainties. Following the health restrictions that hindered mobility, this period has been characterized by a gradual return to face-to-face exchanges, while capitalizing on the digital advancements and hybrid pedagogical approaches developed during the pandemic. At the same time, the war in Ukraine and other international tensions have led to a diversification of partnerships, securing mobility pathways, and affirming the role of higher education as a vehicle for intercultural dialogue and openness. This project also addresses more local issues at the institution level. On one hand, it aims to better train the future architects by providing them with opportunities to confront different practices, enrich their experiences, acquire intercultural and linguistic skills, and enhance their employability in a globalized professional environment. On the other hand, it seeks to strengthen existing academic partnerships and develop new ones to facilitate the establishment of balanced, sustainable, and high-quality exchanges. Finally, the project responds to an institutional goal of supporting continuous training and professional development for staff by offering them opportunities for learning and collaboration with partner institutions. The project fully aligns with the priorities of the Erasmus+ program 2021-2027. This is reflected in increased support for: • Inclusion and diversity: broadening access to mobility for diverse audiences, supporting students facing social, economic, or geographical barriers. • Digital transition: enhancing digital skills and developing hybrid and collaborative pedagogical formats. • Ecological transition: promoting more sustainable mobilities and integrating environmental issues into educational projects. Through this project, the school aims to pursue several concrete objectives: • Revitalize and diversify student mobility; • Encourage staff and administrative mobility; • Increase the international attractiveness of the institution and strengthen its visibility in a competitive academic space; • Promote equal opportunities and inclusion by making mobility accessible to a larger number of individuals; • Fully integrate ecological, digital, and societal challenges into academic cooperations.
