Objectives

We enthusiastically embarked on the Erasmus+ adventure in 2017. Our agricultural high school, modest in size with around 180 students, has always included staff members committed to international cooperation. These initiatives have been limited to a few students and a small portion of the staff. Through this project, our goal was to strengthen our institution’s involvement in a broader dynamic of European openness. The development of Erasmus+ projects presented a strategic opportunity to foster a wider collective momentum. We aimed to involve more students and staff members by offering them the chance to participate in mobility programs, whether through internships or professional training. The objective was to overcome language barriers and encourage the formation of a broader, committed team around the challenges of international cooperation. Student mobility appeared to us as a true lever for personal and professional development, particularly relevant considering the socio-economic background of our students, who often have modest means and limited engagement in European citizenship. We also wanted to make global awareness a central pillar of our school’s project, implementing regular actions such as: active participation in Erasmus Days, organizing themed "World Days" involving all students and staff, and creating a Eurokiosk within the school—an area dedicated to sharing information and promoting European projects. These actions have helped raise awareness across the entire educational community about European issues and strengthened the sense of belonging to a shared project that brings meaning and ambition to our institution.
