The Erasmus+ programme is a key enabler of IMT-BS’s international strategy, which is structured around four major pillars: inclusion and equal opportunities, sustainable and responsible mobility, international openness for all members of the institution (students and staff, both incoming and outgoing), and pedagogical innovation driven by mobility. Through its ECHE accreditation, IMT-BS reaffirms its commitment to actively contributing to the development of the European Higher Education Area. The institution aims to strengthen student and academic mobility, foster sustainable strategic partnerships, and fully integrate internationalisation across all levels of its operations — from pedagogy and research to campus life. European cooperation lies at the heart of our international policy. It promotes knowledge sharing, the development of intercultural skills, and the exploration of new pedagogical approaches. In this context, the 2022 Erasmus+ project has served as a decisive accelerator of our international strategy. It has enabled: - The development of new mobility agreements with leading institutions in Europe and beyond; - The diversification of mobility participants, including students, academic staff, and administrative staff, supported by an inclusive policy aligned with our mission as a public institution; - The enhancement of academic recognition, through better integration of mobility periods into study paths and optimised ECTS credit management, as well as the promotion of innovative teaching methods through the development of hybrid mobility formats; - The active support of staff participation in European cooperation projects in education and research. Finally, the programme has contributed to the development of the EUList European University Alliance, in which IMT-BS is actively involved via the IMT Group. This initiative strengthens our integration into the European Higher Education Area and supports the implementation of high-impact collaborative projects.
