This ICM project is part of the ongoing collaboration between the University of Tours and its two partners, the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa (Region 9) and the University of Montenegro (Region 1). Its aim was to strengthen ties between the partners and create new mobility opportunities for our students and staff. For the partnership with South Africa, the project enabled significant exchanges between the Faculties of Arts and Languages and Arts and Humanities at the University of Tours and the College of Humanities, Development and Social Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in the fields of humanities and languages. For the partnership with Montenegro, the collaboration between the École Polytechnique de Tours and the University of Montenegro enriched the range of possible destinations for students who are required to study abroad in order to obtain their engineering degree. The mobility of administrative and academic staff allowed for the exchange of best practices and new teaching tools between partners to improve the integration of students on international mobility programmes in their host institutions.
