The main objective of the project was to strengthen and sustain the strategic partnership between ENSTA and KPI through the Erasmus+ KA171 programme. The project aimed to support the continuity of KPI’s teaching and research activities despite the consequences of the war in Ukraine, which has severely affected the functioning of universities, while further developing academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions. We sought to provide Ukrainian students with opportunities to participate in exchange semesters, dual-degree programmes, or research experiences within ENSTA’s laboratories. We also aimed to enable KPI academic staff, researchers, and administrative personnel to benefit from training, teaching, and research mobility opportunities in order to maintain their skills, strengthen their international networks, and continue existing collaborations. The project also addressed a broader ambition: to preserve Ukraine’s scientific and intellectual capital, promote the European values of solidarity and international cooperation, and contribute to the future reconstruction of the Ukrainian higher education and research system.
