The project was part of an international cooperation initiative between our institution, Croix-Rouge Compétence Auvergne Rhône Alpes (ARA), Aleksander Moisiu University in Durrës, Albania, and Heimerer College (HC) in Pristina, Kosovo. The main objectives were to strengthen the skills of students and staff through incoming and outgoing mobility, while developing structured collaborations focused on three priority areas: health simulation, nursing research, and digital tools applied to training. Furthermore, the project aimed to promote the sharing of best teaching practices, improve mutual understanding of the partners’ healthcare systems, and build lasting relationships that would facilitate future joint projects as well as the internationalization of nursing education by offering students the opportunity to participate in an international mobility program, whether in the form of a 3-month internship or a full semester of study comprising theoretical and practical components.
