Objectives

The KA171 project developed with our Georgian partners (Tbilisi State University – TSU, Ilia State University – ISU, and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs – GIPA) and our Albanian partner (University of Tirana) primarily aimed to support and further expand mobility activities that had already been initiated through previous Erasmus+ funded projects. Our ambition was to go beyond individual mobility and strengthen cooperation at an institutional level by developing more integrated forms of collaboration that better respond to partners’ needs at both local and national levels. One concrete achievement of this project was the development of double-degree programmes. Another key objective was to promote and share the values, opportunities, and benefits embodied by the Erasmus+ Programme with our Georgian and Albanian partners. This mobility project is fully aligned with UCA’s internationalisation strategy, as it fosters dialogue and knowledge exchange on sustainable and human development between Europe and its neighbouring countries. UCA’s recent integration into the French-Georgian University network provides a tangible example of this commitment and of the strengthened institutional cooperation resulting from the project.
