Objectives

Our goal: to create a connection between educators and artists who, through innovative and inclusive approaches, will contribute to a better quality of education. This benefits everyone, especially vulnerable groups. Theater thus becomes a powerful tool for improving the quality of education. This project combines art and adult education to create a more inclusive, accessible, and creative learning environment, particularly for vulnerable groups. The main objective: to highlight the benefits of artistic approaches, particularly theater, in non-formal and informal education. "From Art to the World" aims not only to transfer knowledge but also to create a space for the exchange of experiences and best practices between partners from different backgrounds. Short videos will serve as a practical resource to help instructors integrate artistic approaches into their teaching practices, particularly with participants facing social/medical challenges. This project is further proof that art is more than just an aesthetic experience: it is a path to connection, understanding and growth.

Background

The goal is to bring methods used in theater to informal and non-formal education in order to make it more inclusive and accessible to all. The aim is to increase the benefits of creativity in the training of the most vulnerable. The exchange of best practices between partners is at the heart of the project, aiming to change the mindsets and practices of trainers and learners, proving that art is both an original and relevant lever in learning processes. Adult educators use few methods from the field of theater for vulnerable audiences. This project is an opportunity to step back and develop a set of new avenues of work to better engage with our respective audiences. Informal/non-formal education is too often tossed around in rigid educational contexts. Theater is a social tool that allows its beneficiaries to dare, to express themselves, to create… In this way, we participate in community life in a different way, we encourage citizenship through theater. Ultimately, it is about promoting and giving confidence in order to create a favorable learning climate.
