In setting up this project, we wanted to : * Promote intercultural understanding * Strengthen the sense of belonging to Europe: we want to develop a sense of European identity by highlighting the links that unite us as European citizens, despite our cultural differences. * Promote cooperation and solidarity. * Develop social and intercultural skills. * Promote inclusion. * To raise awareness among our pupils and the entire educational community of the challenges of European and global citizenship. * To encourage our pupils to become civically engaged and to develop them into committed, informed and responsible citizens, capable of making a positive contribution to society. By implementing this project, we wanted to contribute to the creation of a more united Europe, where citizens are aware of their diversity while celebrating what unites them.
We applied for this "Learning from each other to become European citizens" project because we needed to: * strengthen our understanding of cultural diversity in Europe. * Explore new cultures. * exchange with people from other countries. * Improve our language skills by interacting with people from different European countries. * Develop a sense of belonging to the European community and strengthen our identity as European citizens. * promote cooperation and solidarity between young Europeans. * to continue our school project on international labelling. By taking part in this project, we were able to meet these needs by engaging in intercultural exchanges, learning from each other and contributing to building a stronger and more inclusive European citizenship. This has contributed to greater intercultural understanding and a stronger sense of belonging to the European community.
