The project had several main objectives: - Prevent and reduce peer bullying by using art as a tool for expression, dialogue, and cooperation. - Develop a culture of empathy and tolerance by fostering mutual understanding between young people from different countries and cultures. - Strengthen key 21st-century skills (creativity, critical thinking, cooperation, communication). - Support teachers and educators in adopting innovative and inclusive teaching methods. - Engage families and the local community to amplify the impact and create a sustainable prevention dynamic. We chose to submit this project because peer bullying is a major problem in our schools and, more broadly, in our societies. Surveys conducted among our students (aged 14-17) revealed that more than 50% of them had already been victims or perpetrators of bullying, and that the most common forms were verbal bullying (66%), followed by physical, relational, and cyberbullying. The identified needs therefore concerned: developing empathy and tolerance, creating a safe and inclusive school environment, reducing school dropout rates due to bullying, raising awareness among teachers and parents of their roles in prevention and support. European cooperation is also essential. It allows students and teachers to: - discover and value cultural diversity as a source of wealth, - share best practices with other schools facing the same challenges, - strengthen the participants' European identity and openness to the world. By participating in this Erasmus project, we not only want to reduce bullying in our schools but also to train responsible and supportive European citizens.
