The objectives we aimed to achieve are as follows: - To develop and foster ecological awareness, including digital ecological awareness. -To change behaviors regarding environmental protection and the adoption of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle through ten daily habits at home, at school, and during leisure time. -To improve digital skills through the sustainable use of modern technologies (online meetings, posts on communication platforms, etc.). -To strengthen English language skills, as all communication was conducted in English, while also acquiring basic knowledge of the languages of other participants. Progress was assessed through observation of interactions throughout the project. -To include disadvantaged groups in the project activities (people facing economic difficulties, migrants, etc.). -To explore different European cultures and our shared European identity, based on common values, habits, ideas, and principles.
We submitted our application for this project with the aim of raising student awareness regarding environmental challenges, promoting responsible daily behaviors, and implementing concrete actions within educational institutions. Our primary motivations were as follows: -To raise awareness and provide education to students, recognizing that schools serve as a pivotal environment for fostering responsible behaviors such as waste sorting, responsible consumption, and digital energy conservation. -To equip young people with the skills and knowledge necessary to adopt sustainable habits in their everyday lives. -To encourage collective engagement by fostering a project dynamic centered on shared values. -To enhance European openness and cooperation through collaboration with partner schools. Surveys conducted within our institutions highlighted a gap in education related to ecology and sustainable development. Consequently, it was imperative to implement concrete measures to address this issue, and this project provided an ideal structured and effective framework to do so.
