Objectives

The MOSAIC project aimed to strengthen the skills of adult educators so that they could effectively support underrepresented founders in preparing for investment and financial independence. Its objectives were to: - Develop a skills framework and modular training program for inclusive entrepreneurship education; - Create innovative digital resources : a self-assessment app for “readiness to invest” and a knowledge and networking hub, facilitating dialogue between founders, trainers, and investors; - Test these tools through transnational pilot tests and collect impact data on learning practices; - Widely disseminate the results to encourage their reuse in adult education across Europe. These objectives were fully achieved, contributing to the professionalization of trainers and the creation of a more inclusive investment ecosystem.

Background

MOSAIC partners have responded to a clearly identified need in European entrepreneurial ecosystems: founders from underrepresented groups, including migrants, women, and adults from disadvantaged backgrounds, face specific barriers to accessing financing and investment networks. At the same time, adult educators lack the tools and skills to address these issues in their training programs. MOSAIC was designed to fill these two gaps: on the one hand, by providing trainers with a set of inclusive skills and teaching resources on investment preparation, and on the other hand, by creating a self-assessment app and a digital hub to facilitate connections between founders, educators, and investors. The project thus aims to strengthen financial literacy, entrepreneurial confidence, and equal access to financing in adult education in Europe. The project also aimed to raise awareness among investors about unconscious biases and promote more inclusive financing practices.
