Objectives

The project aimed to strengthen students’ entrepreneurial skills by combining theoretical inputs with practical application in an international context. The main objective was to enable participants to develop a comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneurial process, from idea generation to project structuring and final presentation. More specifically, the project sought to establish a structured pedagogical framework allowing for progressive learning, integrating both technical (hard skills) and transversal (soft skills) competences. It also aimed to provide a training approach closely aligned with real entrepreneurial challenges, by involving professionals and economic stakeholders in the project activities. Another objective was to leverage the consortium’s expertise in business development across different countries in order to design training adapted to national market specificities, while fostering an understanding of intercultural dynamics. Finally, the project aimed to ensure accessibility and dissemination of content through digital formats and an online platform.

Background

The project was designed in response to a gap identified between initial higher education programmes and the concrete skills required by self-entrepreneurs. Existing initial training offers are often limited to introductory concepts (outside specialised entrepreneurship programmes), while more advanced content is mainly developed within continuing education frameworks. However, students in initial education have strong entrepreneurial potential and should have equal access to tools and opportunities to help them develop and implement their projects. These programmes also remain largely anchored in national contexts, with limited opportunities to experiment with real-life innovation situations and to interact with economic stakeholders. At the same time, higher education institutions still face challenges in implementing innovative pedagogical approaches. The project therefore aimed to provide an alternative by combining training, event-based practical application and collaboration with economic stakeholders, while ensuring accessibility of content through multilingual digital resources.
