The overall goal of our project is to improve the competencies of students and teachers in the field of teaching and learning through work and practical ecological activities in the field of environmental protection: 1- Integration of environmental education into curricula for a sustainable environment 2- To equip students with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes necessary for environmental protection and sustainability 3- Ensuring the use of the prepared materials in the classroom; dissemination and sustainability of the project 4- Professional empowerment of school leaders, teachers and trainers; To ensure that the prepared materials are used in the classrooms
The idea emerged to launch an innovative and unifying project to incorporate environmental education into the curriculum for a sustainable environment. Factors such as deforestation, biodiversity decline, desertification, ozone depletion, the dumping of toxic waste into seas and lakes, climate change, and rapid population growth are disrupting the balance of nature. Protecting the world for future generations is among the responsibilities of all individuals and institutions. Content: Interactive and motivating activities conducted both in nature and in the classroom, effective modern methods for beneficiaries, and environmental lessons delivered by professionals. With the development of digital competencies, it is necessary to promote a quality relationship with nature. Students need to be better prepared for life and the world of work, and the economic reasons for encouraging their continued environmental education need to be emphasized.
