Objectives

Despite its accreditation, which makes it easier to set up projects, the Communauté de communes des Coëvrons is striving to maintain the quality of the activities on offer and is always looking for new tools and ideas to stimulate its teams, partners and young people. Based on the objectives of our accreditation: 1/ To offer young people and those involved in youth work the chance to enjoy an exceptional human and cultural adventure by taking part in European mobility projects, and to motivate them even more to take part in future teaching or training activities (e.g. training courses). activities (formal or non-formal) after the stay. 2 / To give young people the opportunity to learn in a fun environment, and even to give them a taste for learning, to find individual resources to develop their own skills. 3 / To promote well-being and self-esteem. Taking part in a European project is an opportunity to take initiative, express opinions, create while having fun, and develop their potential and self-esteem. 4/ Promoting inclusion, opening up activities to participants from different backgrounds and with different abilities and specific needs. 5 / Develop the ability to adapt and integrate, to master other cultural codes and even a foreign language. Improving your language skills is also a great way to add to your CV. 6 / Boost employability and inspire people to move on. The idea is to give young people and professionals the opportunity to enrich their career paths and broaden their perspectives. 7 / Promote the actions and fields of action of the European Union, answer a simple question: What is Europe for? To contribute to peace, respect for differences and human rights, to promote tolerance, equality and living together, values that are essential to the European Union. We came up with two new projects: The first was an ENVIRONMENTAL project called 100, the main aim of which was to help participants refocus on the essentials and question their own consumption habits: - By choosing the island of Groix and its youth hostel (minimalist and rudimentary), - By getting rid of the superfluous: choosing 100 items to organise your trip, - By getting to grips with the island's problems, particularly in terms of waste and water management. This project was an opportunity to question young people about our lifestyles and our desires, which are often in total contradiction with environmental protection and global warming. The idea was not to make young people feel guilty about their habits and lifestyles, but to help them answer a few questions: - What is really important to us? - How can we consume less? - Can we live better with less? - How can we adopt a new way of thinking and let go of our habits? - What are the obstacles and how can we overcome them? A second project called Cocoléo, the main aim of which was to put on a show based on the knowledge and expertise of the participants. For several years now, we have been offering a Cocoléo evening as part of our youth exchange programmes. This Cocoléo evening is a convivial moment where everyone can present : - know-how - a performance - a skill - a gift. It could be summed up as a ‘J'ai un incroyable talent’ evening, but this evening goes beyond that concept, as it allows young people who feel confident in a group to step out of their comfort zone, to discover themselves, and sometimes to reveal themselves. The idea is not to develop techniques or new skills, but simply to highlight : - A particular dexterity, - A skill, - A mastery, - A talent, - Virtuosity. IN CONNECTION WITH OUR ACCREDITATION Project 100 also enabled the participants - take part in an exceptional human and cultural adventure in a setting perfectly suited to the project. - learn in a fun environment, and even give them a taste for learning, - develop their ability to adapt and integrate. The Cocoléo project enabled participants to - learn in a fun environment, sometimes even giving them a taste for learning again, and find individual resources to develop their own skills, - take initiative, express opinions, create while having fun, develop their potential and self-esteem, - develop their ability to adapt and integrate. For the 2 projects, we did not omit to work on: - Promoting the actions and scope of the European Union, - Reinforcing employability and encouraging people to go out and find work, - Inclusion and opening up activities to participants from different backgrounds.
