To meet the seven objectives outlined in our accreditation, we developed this project with the ambition of creating a positive and lasting impact on several crucial areas for our youth. 1. Prioritized Support for Rural Youth in the Landes Region We aimed to provide specific support to young people in rural areas, who are often less connected to European opportunities, to allow them to access enriching experiences that stimulate their engagement and self-confidence. By offering them international exchanges and formative activities, we sought to reduce isolation and strengthen their sense of belonging to a dynamic European community. 2. Creating Concrete Connections Between Youth and the European Union A major focus of this project was to facilitate openness towards Europe, enabling young people to discover, understand, and engage actively. We developed practical activities that promote mobility, cultural exchanges, and awareness of European values, thus making the European Union more accessible and tangible in their lives. 3. Fighting Discrimination to Ensure Equality and Inclusion for All Youth Convinced that equality and inclusion are essential for a harmonious future, we wanted this project to be an opportunity for exchange where each young person, regardless of their background or characteristics, feels valued and respected. Our activities highlighted diversity and aimed to dismantle prejudices, creating a space where everyone could feel safe to express their identity and ideas. 4. Addressing Youth Mental Health Challenges In light of mental health issues, exacerbated by high levels of stress, anxiety, and depression among young people, we integrated activities that promote well-being, self-confidence, resilience, and solidarity. 5. Preparing Young People for 21st-Century Challenges and Societal Changes In a constantly evolving world, this project was also designed to develop critical thinking and skills among young people, allowing them to approach change with confidence and adaptability. We encouraged the acquisition of cross-disciplinary skills, empowering them to contribute actively to the social, economic, and environmental issues of today and tomorrow. 6. Mobilizing for a Sustainable and Green Europe and World With environmental issues at the heart of current concerns, we included activities focused on environmental awareness and sustainable development. By involving them in concrete actions, we sought to enhance their ecological consciousness and mobilize them to become agents of change. 7. Strengthening the Skills of Youth Workers To ensure quality support, we also emphasized the training of youth workers. These two professional development activities allowed youth workers to equip themselves to face current challenges, strengthen their skills in management and youth support in an intercultural setting, foster engagement among their audience, and create a network for sharing best practices at the European level. To achieve these seven objectives, we structured our project around five activities: three youth exchanges and two training activities for youth workers. These activities were designed to have a real impact on the lives of the young participants and the involved youth workers: The two professional development activities: International Team and Engaging Youth. The three youth exchanges: Trust Yourself, Ecology Act 3, and Europe, My Neighbor. Through these actions, we aimed to build a comprehensive, ambitious, and achievable project capable of meeting the needs of young people, preparing them for their future, and strengthening their sense of belonging to an inclusive and sustainable Europe.
