For the first year of our accreditation, we have implemented the first phase of acculturation of socio-educational staff or youth workers, i.e. 670 staff from 6 departments of Toulouse City Council or Toulouse Métropole working with young people. Mobilities for young people attending the youth departments will be implemented in the second year of accreditation. For this first year, we have organized 3 group mobilities: study visits to socio-educational organisations and organisations active in the youth field in Europe: Brussels in Belgium, Essen and Münich in Germany. The objectives of these study visits are two of the three objectives of our initial Erasmus+ plan, namely : - to create a network of best practices and a qualitative community of youth workers by developing their know-how and cross-disciplinary skills, thereby helping to improve the quality, innovation and recognition of youth work in Europe's non-formal sector. - develop youth worker mobility for the purpose of learning new methods and know-how, through the exchange of good working practices aimed at developing qualitative and innovative skills in the youth field, in order to contribute to the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, and more specifically to the European work program on youth work on quality, innovation and recognition of youth work. Our experience in the field of international mobility shows that staff who take part in group or individual mobility are those who feel recognized in their mission, who have gained experience on concrete themes thanks to exchanges with their peers, who have been able to deconstruct certain prejudices about European projects and build an intercultural approach, and who will launch themselves with greater ease and desire into setting up and running European projects for the young people with whom they work.
