This project aims to rispond to challenges becoming more and more important in the minds of young people: their well-being. In this age of acceleration, burn out and depression, stopping or even slowing down allows us to take stock of ourselves, to become aware of our surroundings and to open up to others, without rushing headlong to achieve our goals at all costs. More serene young people are essential for building a more fulfilled, open, inclusive and happy society. This issue of well-being is perceived differently in different countries, even within the European Union. Whether it is Finland, Georgia, France or Germany, all four countries have a different focus on youth well-being and slowing down. We want to allow young people to reflect on the theme of slowing down, to exchange the various practices in the four countries, and to leave better equipped to lead a happier and more serene life. The aim of the "Let it Slow" project is to put young people in the spotlight, in the forefront, to be actors in these decisions through different tools put in place - More fulfilled and united young people, sensitive to cooperation and solidarity by disconnecting and discovering a new slower rhythm. - Exchange on the good practices implemented in each country and the place given to well-being in the country. Another objective of the project, apart from organizing an intercultural project and allowing young people who are far from mobility to meet young people of other nationalities and thus to build friendships, is to give young people back their self-confidence by making them as independent as possible. They will therefore have, in addition to the duty to draw up the menus and a charter of living together themselves, spaces in the timetable to propose their own activities, the open spaces. The various activities will be a factor of group cohesion and a central support to express themselves on the theme. They will also facilitate expression and reflection. Also, the construction of living together will not be done without taking into consideration the central European dimension of the meeting, which obliges us to work on all the intercultural aspects by means of active methods centred on the participation of young people. Many activities will facilitate the intercultural encounter. Finally, in a transversal way, the intercultural meeting itself will be a support to allow - Encounter, dialogue and intercultural enrichment. - The development of autonomy and the assumption of responsibility by young people. - The participation of young people as citizens in the construction of a society with equal access to rights in Europe and in the world, particularly on issues of employability - The construction and promotion of a strong European identity based on the history of the member countries
