The TeeNEXTers 2023 project was conceived as an introduction to journalism through a spectator experience at the Next festival. The aim of the project was to develop young people's critical and analytical minds, through sharing, exchanges and discussions, and collaborative work with people of different experience and skills and of different nationalities. In addition, the aim was to stimulate young people's curiosity about the media, by helping them to develop 'journalistic', digital and content creation skills, with an approach based on intellectual and digital skills. One of the objectives was also to provoke and/or encourage a spirit of initiative and the ability to make choices, individually and collectively, in line with the principles of freedom of expression. The project sees itself as a gateway to open-mindedness and awareness of issues of diversity and inclusion, particularly through the artistic forms programmed as part of the Next Festival. Last but not least, this year we've also put the spotlight on sustainable development issues.
