This youth exchange project was created through a partnership between the MOVE association and the Poil de carotte association. The objective was to enable young people from the Poil de carotte association to be in a position of reference for welcoming young Italians and Turks, through a partnership with the organization LINK (Italy) and PIYA ( Turkey). During this week of living together, the intercultural group's objective was to produce a theatrical parade represented during a festive day open to the public at the end of the stay. The young participants had the opportunity to get involved in various artistic activities linked to culture, art and living together. Beyond the individual benefit of this experience, it should allow these young people from different backgrounds to socialize and cooperate despite linguistic and cultural differences. Through the cooperation of each young person in the activities, we wanted to create a collective where everyone can find their place and put their individuality at the service of the group and its objective. The objective of this exchange of young people was also to allow them to build links with each other, thus promoting the deconstruction of preconceived ideas and stereotypes concerning foreign cultures. Relationships are created and consolidated by sharing common experiences. Through this youth exchange, we wanted to allow the participating organizations and young people to create a strong partnership, with the prospect of subsequently organizing future exchanges in the respective countries of the different organizations. Each organization will be able to benefit from this exchange, both through its organization and its implementation, by comparing the approaches and experiences of each in the field of youth. This project carried values of inclusion. The group of young French people are in a placement situation, in child protection institutions. The project was built at their request and with the objective that its impact would be part of their life journey as an experience allowing them to open up to the world and develop their self-confidence.
