This project is at the heart of all the orientations that we defend in our youth and culture center. Indeed, we live in a society, where more and more individuals fear what they do not know. It is the fear of his neighbors because he is different, the fear of not understanding the other, the fear of being judged by the other. All these fears cause individuals to reject each other. In addition, these fears are now fueling a sharp rise in nationalist or hate speech across Europe and often leads to violent radicalization. The main stake of this project is to go against this rise of nationalism, and to defend the values that we defend within our association, we wish to set up a youth exchange project which would allow each participant, through different educational social events, to flourish in a group of different nationalities. This would make it possible to develop and promote common European values, and to have a feeling of belonging to the same community. Through this exchange, young people from different European countries will share their values of respect for solidarity, living together and sharing, by participating in different creative, fun and sporting activities. The exchange that we are proposing and that we are going to build with young people addresses 3 main themes: - develop your European citizenship - environmental awareness - water sports, a vehicle for citizenship The sense of European citizenship is a fundamental orientation of the project. The question is indeed the place of young people in our society and how to give them keys to strengthen their intercultural understanding. Indeed, to live better together, it is essential to know the other better and to respect him with his differences. On the theme of "developing your European citizenship", we will set up each day, various small workshops so that each participant can share and compare their values, their culture, and their lifestyle. The objective of these games will be to accentuate the feeling of belonging to a European community. We will communicate throughout the project in English. the aim will be to significantly improve the learning of a foreign language. We will tackle transversely, during this project, the theme of "environmental awareness" through the development of an exhibition on ways to consume differently in Europe. This will also allow participants to become aware of having the same centers of interest and the same questions in relation to the consumer society around us. The objective is that each individual actively participates in today's society by becoming aware of what surrounds him, in order to better understand and build the world of tomorrow. Today, from one country to another, young people can live the same passion. But do they share the same values? The same vision of the world around us? To develop European citizenship in the group, we will share nautical activities throughout the stay. Thus, participants will find themselves in situations where they will have to develop values of solidarity, living together, sharing and respect. Through the different activities they will practice during the exchange, the participants will get to know each other, and they will create strong links between them.
