Our approach to this project was as follows: - Deconstruct existing prejudices about migrants by debating and exchanging opinions and through interviews to the local community. - Develop journalistic skills by conducting interviews - Develop computer skills by editing a video - Create a final project that showed the local community what we learned during the Youth Exchange The young people's exchange provides a friendly intercultural meeting place, and has enabled us to achieve our initial objectives: 1) Raise young people's awareness of their ability to defend their opinions/beliefs 2) Encourage new forms of cooperation and cohesion 3) Encourage young people and society to adopt non-violent, high-impact and constructive forms of expression, 4) Develop young people's sensitivity to and curiosity about migrants. 5) Raise awareness for worlds’ inequalities and injustice.
