Objectives

Our European project aims to contribute to the development of young people by supporting their individual and collective development, in partnership with local educational stakeholders. Our ambition is to have autonomous, responsible, supportive and civic-minded former adults. By allowing our young people to meet other young Europeans, we create an intercultural dynamic that is a powerful driver of motivation. This opportunity is all the more valuable for a group mainly made up of young people with fewer opportunities, such as those with disabilities, living in rural or peri-urban areas, or from modest backgrounds. We want to build this project with a participatory and experiential pedagogy, where participants are actively involved at each stage. They will be encouraged to become aware of the non-formal skills developed through individual and collective self-assessment tools, such as the Youthpass. This approach makes it possible to enhance the skills acquired and to promote awareness of their value. The themes addressed in this project will be local or societal issues, in particular those of digital technology, sustainable development and gender equality. Interculturality is a key element of our project. For young people with little knowledge of European cultural life, this exchange experience in different countries will be able to awaken them and open them up to the world. By bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, we hope to bring out rich exchanges on various subjects of daily life and their future as adults. Our objectives include meeting young people from different cultures, creating links through joint actions, learning new skills, and deconstructing clichés about partner countries. The transition and digital education are also at the heart of our project. Post-COVID-19, it is crucial to exploit digital technologies for all. The Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027) aims to support initiatives that engage young people in the digital transformation. Raising awareness of the responsible use of digital technology is essential, particularly in relation to the ecological impact and the prevention of online harassment. Our objectives are to raise public awareness of the responsible use of digital technology, to enable discussions on various digital topics, and to develop new skills. With regard to sustainable development, we aim to raise awareness among participants of eco-responsible practices. The survival of our planet is a priority, and it is essential to involve young people in this process. As educators, our role is to make them aware of the importance of responsible daily actions. Participation is another crucial dimension of our project. Faced with authoritarian excesses and corporatist attitudes in Europe, it is vital to cultivate the ability to exchange and accept different points of view. We wish to introduce young people to democratic processes, encourage participation and debate, and co-construct decision-making spaces. Our project is aligned with the objectives of the Erasmus+ program and youth exchanges. It develops key competences of the Youthpass, such as intercultural awareness, digital skills, and civic participation. Interculturality is highlighted through meetings and non-formal learning programmes, fostering a better understanding of the EU's common values and a sense of belonging to it. The digital transition and education are encouraged through the acquisition of digital skills essential for daily life and participation in civil society and democracy. Sustainable development is also a priority. Erasmus+ supports the use of innovative practices to make our teaching team and participants agents of change. Our project will integrate ecological practices to raise awareness of environmental issues and encourage local responsible actions. In short, this European project aims to awaken an engaged, competent and open youth, ready to face the challenges of the modern world in harmony with the European values of solidarity, diversity and sustainability.
