Our project is called "Exchange for active citizenship between Dourges and Raszkow". This project had several objectives linked to the Erasmus + program, piloted in partnership by the municipality of Dourges in France, and the municipality of Raszkow in Poland. This project aimed to develop the place of young people in the international cooperation policy of local authorities involved in setting up mobility for non-formal learning purposes. The second objective is to raise international awareness among young people in the region, about interculturality between France and Poland. The participation of young people makes it possible to develop linguistic, cultural, historical skills and knowledge, working on the migratory link between countries, autonomy, open-mindedness, creativity and skills in the use of tools digital. In addition, this exchange project co-organized by local authorities and young people in their territory encourages them to actively participate in local democratic life and in the implementation of public policies in the territories. Finally, the final objective of this project is to encourage young people to think and discuss Europe, its issues and the idea of belonging, citizenship and a European identity.
