Objectives

Our idea was to create a meeting place for multipliers from France, Belgium, Tunisia and Lebanon to share our experiences, discuss our practices and map out a future project based on the media expression of young people in the four countries concerned. After a phase of getting to know each other and exchanging ideas, our ambition was to set up a larger-scale project (via KA2 funding) with the aim of initiating a series of collective and cross-cutting accounts of young people. The idea was to identify and build the foundations of a new cooperation so that we could really co-construct the KA2 project with our Euro-Mediterranean partners. Our project had two main objectives - to enable multipliers from France, Belgium, Tunisia and Lebanon to meet and present their structures, actions and practices. This will make it possible to take stock of national realities and issues relating to EMI and the participation of "young people with fewer opportunities" in the media and in society as a whole, as well as to highlight good national practices and draw inspiration from them at Euro-Mediterranean level. - develop a collective reflection, after getting to know and understand the issues and realities of each country, with the aim of setting up projects based on the media expression of young people in the four countries concerned, in 2024-2026, including one potentially via KA2 funding. Our project had 3 sub-objectives - to take into account the potential of each participant by enabling them to carve out a place for themselves within the dynamics of the group, to be active players and to make proposals throughout the duration of the project, - develop interpersonal skills and know-how by discovering different realities and practices in terms of IME and young people's participation - develop skills in international teamwork and intercultural learning
