The main objective of the project "Let's Build Youth's Competences for Inclusion" was to strengthen the competences of youth workers in an international context through the exchange of practices, tools, and methodologies, in order to improve the quality of actions carried out with young people. It provided participants with a space for professional development focused on non-formal education and the creation of educational tools, relying on the European Training Strategy (ETS) and, more specifically, on the ETS Competence Model for Youth Workers to Work Internationally, while integrating the principles of inclusion and gender equality in a transversal manner. Specifically, the project aimed to: -Develop participants’ practical skills to better support young people, particularly those in vulnerable situations (youth with fewer opportunities, migrants, refugees, etc.); -Promote the exchange of experiences and methods among youth workers from different countries, enriching the practices of all involved; -Raise youth workers’ awareness of issues related to diversity, social cohesion, and youth empowerment; -Strengthen Euro-Mediterranean cooperation and lay the groundwork for future inclusive and sustainable Erasmus+ projects. In summary, the project enabled youth workers to acquire solid and transferable skills, preparing them to act more effectively, openly, and sensitively in their daily practices, to the direct benefit of the young people they support.
