The partners of this project work for the preservation of heritage around the principles of popular education and volunteer workcamps, considering that heritage is everyone's business. This commitment to heritage goes beyond borders, which is why we have established very close relationships across Europe, particularly through the ERASMUS+ Heritage Volunteers and Leaders (E+HVL) 1, 2 and 3 projects, initiated by REMPART in 2018 and which have strengthened these partnerships year after year. Among the actions of E+HVL 1, 2 and 3, training activities and knowledge networking have been deployed. In order to ensure the quality of heritage restoration and mediation activities, but also to pass on traditional know-how, REMPART offers training to its leaders, whether they are volunteers or employees. Thanks to its years of practice and expertise, REMPART has developed a competence in educational engineering for the training of socio-educational leaders, based on the values and ambitions common to all our organisations. The mobilisation of leaders, supervisors and stakeholders for these training sessions and seminars, with a focus on interculturality and European attachment, confirmed that these proposals met a need. Our European partners shared with us their need to develop specific socio-educational skills in heritage, to learn how to welcome intercultural groups, to learn how to transmit know-how and interpersonal skills, to get to know other organisations comparable to theirs on a European scale, to become part of a network in order to have a greater impact locally, and to give a new, European dimension to their project After the E+HVL 3 project, which did not include such training activities, we would like to be able to meet these needs once again, at the level of our European partners and our local associations. In the continuity of our previous ERASMUS+ Heritage Volunteers and Leaders projects, E+HVL 4 - Training aims to : 1/ Networking heritage organisations at a European level; 2/ To support the development of the skills of REMPART network leaders and partners; 3/ To improve the quality of our voluntary heritage preservation actions; 4/ To encourage the implementation of environmentally friendly heritage restoration actions; 5/ To develop the reception of people with fewer opportunities in our associations and partners to develop their skills and give them access to intercultural experiences. This project is an opportunity to exchange good practices, to respond together to common problems, to develop our local base, which is more legitimate because it is larger, and to open up to the whole European continent.
