Our objectives were for each participant to : - Become a convincing speaker, an active citizen in society who encourages them to take action for a cause - Be informed about the European institutions and aware of future elections - Be capable of debate with decision- and policy-makers with respect, discernment and a critical approach - Prepare to take part in national eloquence competitions, other competitions or public debates. Each of these objectives has been accomplished: we will explain them in detail in the report. The final aim is for young people to be recognized, listened to and active in their overseas territories or elsewhere. The aim was for young people to really take their place in society as fully active and informed European citizens: only time will tell, but the foundations have been built!
