The project aimed to strengthen the capacities of professionals and young people to understand, prevent, and respond to violence and cyberviolence. It pursued three objectives: to develop educational and emotional skills, create innovative awareness-raising tools, and promote a culture of respect and kindness, online as well as offline. The Booklet 1 – "In the web of violence" (annex 1), designed as a training program for youth professionals, allowed them to acquire tools to identify the different forms of violence, accompany the victims, manage conflicts and adjust their educational posture. These sessions fostered trust, interdisciplinary cooperation and the capacity to act on the ground. Booklet 2 – "Cyberviolence for Youth" (Appendix 10) proposed participatory workshops on digital uses, the expression of emotions and the prevention of online harassment. The young people learned to identify risks, adopt a responsible attitude and act as supportive witnesses. The project thus strengthened understanding of digital coexistence and consolidated French-Polish cooperation around a common educational ambition.
The HELP-YOUTH-OUT project – Community-based educational tools for the prevention of cyberbullying and cybervictimisation was born from a shared observation between France and Poland: young people, especially those distant from the traditional school setting, are both exposed and insufficiently supported in the face of violence and cyberviolence. These phenomena today affect all spheres of social life – school, work, family life, friendly and sentimental relationships – and require educational responses rooted in the reality on the ground.. It is in this context that ADIJ22 (France) and the association TRESSES (Poland) have joined forces within the framework of this Erasmus+ partnership. The common goal: to create concrete, participatory and bilingual educational tools to strengthen the prevention of cyberbullying and violent behaviors, while training youth professionals on these complex issues.
