The WISDOM project aimed to achieve the following objectives: * Strengthen the employability of young women, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, by developing their transversal (communication, self-confidence, teamwork, etc.) and digital skills; * Train youth professionals from the partner organisations through four short training modules, enabling them to act as pedagogical relays for the young female beneficiaries; * Implement practical training workshops for young women in each partner country, based on the content of the training modules; * Create the WISDOM website to disseminate educational content and showcase good practices; * Carry out an awareness-raising campaign on the importance of soft skills for access to employment; * Strengthen transnational cooperation and the organisational capacities of partners in the fields of non-formal education, social inclusion, and European project management.
The WISDOM project was designed to address clearly identified needs at the European level regarding the socio-professional inclusion of young women, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds (rural areas, migrants, refugees, low-skilled). Available data, notably from Eurostat, highlights a high unemployment rate among these groups, often linked to a lack of transversal and digital skills. The project aimed to strengthen the employability of young women by focusing on the development of these key skills through the training of youth professionals and the implementation of dedicated workshops. It also sought to foster transnational cooperation, share good practices, and raise public awareness about the importance of soft skills for accessing the labour market.
