Our core goals during the project were to: > Gain new tools, learn innovative approaches and exchange best practice with the international community in the area of anti-discrimination education. > Acquire new skills in leadership education for learners coming from disadvantaged backgrounds (especially LGBTQI+ community). > Gain theoretical knowledge and practical educational strategies for addressing the problem of professional burnout for members of LGBTQI+ community specifically.
TMB runs adult education in the areas of anti-discrimination, inclusion, active citizenship, LGBTQI+ rights, empowerment, & collaboration. We wished to: A. innovate our educational provision for the LGBTQI+ community and B. provision for social workers, educational institutions, human right defenders. This project was designed to support staff to contribute to both of these goals, by offering professional development opportunities to improve knowledge, skills & motivation.
