Implementing the project has distinctive objectives: strengthening hospitality skills and competences as well as opportunity to participate in activities for those with fewer opportunities. Students have very restricted and limited pool from which they can choose quality places for good practice, which is essential for acquiring new and strengthening existing ones. In addition, we want to emphasise the importance of inclusion, diversity and promote non- discrimination policies.
Ekonomska škola Imotski (The School of Economics Imotski) is a public, non-profit organisation which provides four different curriculums. During the past four years our focus shifted towards tourism since our region has a steady increase in number of visitors and accommodation. However, tourist boom wasn't fully followed by development of tourist facilities so our students frequently have issues to find places for practice. Hence, we sought for it through EU projects.
