In this project we wanted to get the students to work in the Revit BIM modeling program and thus meet the real work environment and get a better picture of their future job and to be more competitive. We also wanted the students to improve their English, learn to manage in a foreign country and new situations, and become more independent. Additionally, we sought to promote intercultural awareness and encourage European values among the students.
During the mobility, the students learned about BIM software Revit through a workshop. BIM programs are widely used in practice for more serious projects, and since the school curriculum has not yet introduced the learning of such programs, students do not get the necessary knowledge to keep up with the real needs of the market. For this reason, as well as due to very positive recommendations from colleagues other from schools, we decided that this project will be our first ERASMUS+ project.
