Through internationalization, the university builds an international reputation, and nurtures multiculturalism and the acceptance of different values, while social engagement indicates empathy and participation in community development. The Office for Partnership and Projects (Office furthermore) of UNIPU is leading the internationalization process. In its daily work, the Office covers three main working areas: INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY, INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP AND INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS. Mobility of staff and students in all directions represents the key element for the success and each year UNIPU introduces new mobility schemes. Erasmus+ is the most important mobility program for the university. Throughout years our students and staff developed remarkable international collaboration scheme with a number of institutions throughout Europe. As an outcome of such approach we have successfully joined international programs, summer schools, cooperation with business sector, KA2 partnership projects and promoted successfully UNIPU as a small open, enthusiastic university. Erasmus+ fosters UNIPU’s internationalization process and will continue the same trend in the future. It is important to highlight that UNIPU has higher ratio of incoming than outgoing students what creates a huge workload for the Office capacities. Roughly we have around 80-90 incoming students per academic year in spite of the fact that UNIPU has no study programme in English. Year by year we mark an increase in number of incoming students. On the other side we have 15-20 outgoing students per academic year.
