Through the implementation of our project, we aimed to empower and educate both youth workers and young people themselves in key priority areas that are important for their active social participation. Our objectives focused on enhancing competencies and knowledge about political and social participation, understanding democratic processes, collective management of public spaces, and topics such as financial literacy and social ecology. By implementing the project, we pursued to establish sustainable foundations for the involvement of youth and their mentors in dialogue and the improvement of local communities. One of the key goals was to equip youth workers with new methods and tools, such as gamification and process drama, to enable them to deliver dynamic and innovative workshops for young people. Through these methods, participants learned to develop interactive activities that engage young people and help them acquire new knowledge in an engaging way. Additionally, selected participants had the opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge in international youth exchanges, further expanding the reach and impact of the project. The project also emphasized collective management of public spaces, with the aim of activating young people within their local communities. By educating youth workers about social ecology, direct democracy, and decentralization, we aimed to provide them with a better understanding of how young people can contribute to the revitalization of neglected public spaces. This approach enables young people and their mentors to develop lasting values within the community and foster constructive dialogue with local authorities about the importance of such projects. Financial literacy was also a key area of focus, as young people increasingly express a need for knowledge about managing finances. By organizing educational sessions, we provided youth workers with the knowledge and skills they could pass on to young people in their communities, helping them develop a responsible approach to personal finances. In this way, we contribute to the development of financial literacy among young people, thereby reducing the risk of future financial difficulties. The project also included activities involving escape room games, which proved to be innovative tools for developing teamwork and critical thinking skills. These games allowed young people to engage in fun yet educational activities that encourage problem-solving and teamwork. By combining different types of activities, from theoretical workshops to practical examples, we achieved a synergy that enabled participants to better understand and adapt to new working methods. Environmental awareness was another important topic in the project, where we highlighted the importance of young people's relationship with nature and sustainable development. Participants had the opportunity to learn about positive practices from local and global communities, therefore enriching their knowledge and understanding of social ecology. The education included methods for collective action aimed at preserving natural resources and developing sustainable local projects. All the activities conducted as part of the project provided participants with the skills, knowledge, and support needed for active social participation. A network of mentors and young people was formed, trained to create positive changes in their communities. Through educational and practical examples, the project left a lasting impact, laying the foundations for continued engagement and collaboration within local communities.
