Objectives

During this project, as with previous activities, we wanted to contribute to creating an encouraging space for young people in the local community by achieving the four goals listed in the accreditation: 1. Increasing youth participation 2. Involving young people through informing them 3. Strengthening the role of youth work 4. Raising environmental awareness We achieve the above goals through the implementation of six activities, namely four exchanges of youth workers and two job shadowings. Through activities for youth workers, we developed the capacities of youth workers for more effective inclusion of young people, especially those from vulnerable groups, in the social and educational life of the community. The activities covered topics such as emotional intelligence, gamification, working with volunteers and writing projects. Participants gained new knowledge and tools that were immediately integrated into the work of their organization upon their return, which made the project have a strong multiplier effect. Job shadowing activities were carried out in North Macedonia and Croatia, where participants from partner organizations had the opportunity to directly observe the work of other organizations in the field of youth work. During these activities, concrete experiences and examples of good practice were gained, which were later integrated into the participants' and organisations' own local activities. In addition, the project also addressed the themes of sustainability and ecology, which were horizontally integrated into all activities through the "Zero Waste" initiative, the digitalisation of working materials, the use of reusable resources and the promotion of green practices among participants. This contributed to the achievement of Youth Goal 10: Sustainable Green Europe. The project also contributed to informing and activating young people, particularly through the active role of our organisation as a Eurodesk multiplier and youth info-centre. Participants were informed in detail about the opportunities offered by Erasmus+, and many became ambassadors for the programme in their communities after completing the activities. Finally, through quality cooperation with partner organizations and focusing on the involvement of young people with fewer opportunities (especially from the rural areas of Bulgaria, Spain and Northern Macedonia), the project also achieved goals for young people no. 3 (inclusive societies) and 6 (incentive to young people from rural areas). We fully achieve all planned project goals, and in some segments-such as participants' motivation, follow-up activities and local visibility-the results even outweighed initial expectations. The project left a lasting mark on the development of participants competencies, strengthening the capacity of organizations and the spread of European values among young people.
