Through the implementation of this project, we aimed to empower young people and youth workers by promoting the exchange of knowledge, skills, and good practices in the fields of ecology, transversal competencies, mobility, and the acceptance of diversity. The main goal was to provide young people with a high-quality non-formal educational experience that contributes to their personal growth, more active participation in society, and the development of life skills necessary for functioning successfully in a modern, complex social environment. Through the youth exchange, we wanted to create a safe and inclusive space for dialogue, sharing experiences, and cooperation among young people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. The activities focused on developing key competences such as communication, teamwork, creativity, intercultural sensitivity, an entrepreneurial mindset, and ecological awareness. In addition, we encouraged young people to engage actively in their communities, think critically, and express their opinions and ideas through concrete actions and workshops. On the other hand, through the mobility of youth workers, we aimed to improve the methods and tools used in daily youth work, building on the concept of the Life Skills programme. Our objective was to develop and test new approaches that enable young people to build personal and social skills necessary for independent decision-making, coping with everyday challenges, and achieving their personal and professional goals. Ultimately, the project aimed to create a positive impact on multiple levels – individual, organisational, and societal. Young people had the opportunity to develop useful skills and gain new experiences in an international setting, while youth workers expanded their professional competences and enriched their organisations with new approaches and knowledge. The project also contributed to strengthening international cooperation among scouting and youth organisations and to raising awareness about the importance of involving young people in sustainable and inclusive social processes.
