By implementing this project we wanted to fulfil and contribute to our youth's needs, our and our partner organization's common needs. This means we wanted to increase knowledge about human rights among the youth, especially in rural areas. We wanted to ensure that young people have access to learning about different topics of human rights and give them the opportunity to use digital tools, social networks and AI while doing so. We wanted to give young people the opportunity to learn about their own and other cultures, and also to learn about the Right to participate in cultural life, as this is something we detected they know very little about. For us and our partners, we wanted to include young people in the cultural life that all partners are part of. Create a way to share our knowledge about human rights and learn some new and simple tools we can use to increase our visibility as an organisation. All of these needs were reasons why we formed our project solution around the topic of Right to participate in cultural life, with a digital twist. The main objective of this project was to empower young people to share their points of view about the Right to participate in cultural life in short, stop-motion video form. Specific objectives of the project were: - Creating a space for sharing ideas, views and opinions with young people from different European cultures - Supporting the personal development of young people, advancing skills such as: self-confidence, problem-solving, leadership and teamwork. - Learning about human rights in general and the Right to participate in cultural life in specific - Learning about the process of digital storytelling and making short stop motion videos by using artificial intelligence (AI) and mobile applications. - Creating stop-motion videos based on the topic of the Right to participate in cultural life - Informing participants about non-formal learning opportunities through the Erasmus + and ESC programmes
