Objectives

We wanted to achieve several objectives by implementing this Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project. The objectives were aimed at empowering young people to become active advocates for human rights and to engage in their local communities and beyond. Through participation in youth exchanges with other countries, we aimed to enable participants to learn about different approaches and methods in addressing human rights issues and to develop the skills necessary for effective human rights advocacy. The specific objectives of the project were as follows: Development of knowledge and understanding of human rights through various activities such as role-playing games, debates, and other informal learning methods. Development of teamwork skills and intercultural communication to promote understanding and appreciation of diversity. Reduction of discrimination and racism and promotion of diversity appreciation through exposure to different cultures and ways of life. Raising awareness of the importance of human rights in society. Encouraging young people to engage in activism and advocacy for human rights in their local communities. Development of digital skills through the use of media as a source of information on human rights. Through this project, we aimed to create a generation of young people who will be active advocates for human rights, capable of recognizing human rights violations and combating them both in their communities and around the world.
